Mohamed Salah’s agent has responded to speculations linking the Liverpool star away from the club with huge offer from Saudi Arabia.
Salah has been one of the most important figures, if not the most since his arrival at Liverpool in 2017. The 31-year-old has won all major trophies during that time.
A report from Saudi Arabia publication Al Riyadiah stated that Al Ittihad are preparing an astronomical offer for the Egypt international. The fee is said to be in the region of £60 million. While offering the three-time golden boot winner £155 million over a two-year contract.
Nuno Espirito Santo is the manager of Al-Ittihad, the reigning Saudi Pro League champions, who recently signed Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante this summer.
This summer alone, two Liverpool players were earlier sold to Saudi Arabian clubs. Jordan Henderson joined Steven Gerrard at Al Ettifaq for £12 million. And Fabhino, who left Liverpool for Al Ittihad for £40 million.
Salah won’t be following them though, as his representative Ramy Abbas made it clear that the 31-year-old wanted to stay at Anfield.

“If we considered leaving Liverpool this year,” Abbas said on Twitter, “we wouldn’t have renewed the contract at the club last summer. Mohamed remains committed to Liverpool.”
Although, he scored 30 goals and registered 16 assists across all competitions last season. It was an underwhelming campaign for him and Liverpool as they finished fifth on the log and went the whole season without a silverware.
The Reds will be aiming for a better season as they kick-start the new campaign with an away trip against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
