Liverpool are reportedly interested in 20-year-old winger Johan Bakayoko, who PSV Eindhoven want roughly £25 million for.
Bakayoko is a subject of interest from Liverpool, according to Football Insider. The price tag required by the Reds to sign the sought-after 20-year-old winger is now known.
To let him move during the current transfer window, PSV will demand something in the region of £25 million.
In the past year, the Belgium international has risen to the top of the market for wingers. The Belgian made his breakthrough at the Dutch club last campaign after joining in 2019. And since then, he has improved greatly.
The 20-year-old has made a solid start to the 2023–24 season, contributing four assists in his first six games. And would-be employers believe they can land Bakayoko’s services if PSV are unable to make it into the UEFA Champions League.
Meanwhile, the promising young winger is attracting interest from other renowned teams, including Liverpool.
As the summer transfer window nears its conclusion, the Reds may not actually need a winger. However, given the concerns facing Mohamed Salah, Liverpool could look for a potential replacement on the market.
