Chelsea ‘Fear’ New Signing Could Be Out Until November Following Training Ground Injury

New Chelsea star, Romeo Lavia’s ankle injury could cause him to miss more than six weeks of competition.

The new boy twisted his ankle during a training session last week, resulting in the injury. Early findings from Lavia’s scan the next day suggest that he has ligament injury, which could keep him from playing until November, according to the Mail.

The revelation would be a devastating blow to Chelsea, who are eager to see their new addition in action, even though it hasn’t been officially confirmed.

Lavia was acquired by the Blues from Southampton in a summer transfer deal worth £58m.

Fans are anxious to see the superstar in action after such a large investment in the 19-year-old, but that wait now looks set to continue.

Chelsea return to Premier League action on Sunday as they travel to face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

They’ll then face Aston Villa, Fulham and Burnley in the Premier League and Brighton in the Carabao Cup before the next international break in October.

With Arsenal and Brentford lined up after the October break, Lavia will be hoping that he can back in contention for those games in order to kickstart his Chelsea career going into November.
