Following England’s 3-1 victory over Scotland in a friendly, Harry Maguire shared a well-known England fans chant mocking the Scotland football team on social media.
The Three Lions won the game 3-1 on Tuesday with goals from Phil Foden, Jude Bellingham, and Harry Kane for England and an own goal from Harry Maguire for Scotland, which served only as a consolation.

Maguire came off the bench to enter the game at the start of the second half.
The home crowd at Hampden Park booed the Manchester United defender each time he touched the ball.
However, following England’s victory in the friendly, Maguire resorted to social media to retaliate against the Scottish supporters by posting a line from their well-known chant: “Scotland get battered, everywhere they go, Scotland get battered, everywhere they go. Everywhere they go.ā

Maguire has had a tough 2023-24 season so far as he is yet to start for his club this season. His only Premier League appearance for United so far was as a substitute in their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal.
The 30-year-old defender is likely to feature in Erik ten Hag’s matchday squad when United face Brighton on Saturday in the Premier League.
