Before we start delving into the review, we have to let you know that there is a new Sheriff in town. Guess who? yes you guessed right, Ollie Watkins (£7.9m) is the new leader at the top of the FPL points table.
In the early kickoff match against Brighton, the Aston Villa striker, who hadn’t scored a league goal in 2023–24 until GW6 against Chelsea, went on a tear and contributed to five of his team’s six goals.
His 23 points put him one point ahead of Haaland and Bukayo Saka (£8.7 million), who scored the first goal against Bournemouth before witnessing two other teammates accept penalties and limping off on the south coast.

Some Fantasy managers had a successful Saturday due to the attacking returns of Son Heung-min (£9.2m), Jarrod Bowen (£7.2m), Kieran Trippier (£6.7m), Julian Alvarez (£7.0m). And Double Gameweek armband option Carlton Morris (£5.6m). But it was a disaster for others.
Due to an own goal and six goals conceded at Villa Park, Pervis Estupinan (£5.3m) ended up with a negative score. And Mohamed Salah (£12.5m) was denied what appeared to be an outstanding assist by the mother of all contentious VAR decisions in north London.
While Crystal Palace defeated Manchester United 1-0 at home, United plunged to new lows. Match-winner Joachim Andersen (£4.7m) shot to the top of the defenders’ points standings.
Newcastle United defeated Burnley with ease without Sven Botman (£4.7m) and Callum Wilson (£7.8m), with the former possibly sidelined until after the international break.
It was a good outing for Chelsea on Monday night as they defeated Fulham 2-0 at the Craven Cottage. Finally we get to see Mykhailo Mudryk(£6.3m) on the scoresheet for the first time in the EPL. Injury returnee, Armando Broja(£4.9m) also got his first goal for the first time since October 2022.

Please Note: Winners will be contacted directly by the iSoccer FPL admins ONLY if they have dropped a comment or their team names at any point during the season. Winners who haven’t fulfilled any of the above requirements would have their win passed down to a next eligible manager (who has sent in comments).
This will be done on the next Gameweek’s Deadline Day (provided winners didn’t comment still). And once payments are made to another manager, it becomes irreversible.
No manager is entitled to win in two consecutive GWs. So, any reward of such would be passed down to the next manager in line. This is necessary to make winnings go round.
Net points for the week will be used in picking winners, rather than gross points.
Also Note: Each player is entitled to only ONE team. Therefore, payments will be denied from players with more than one team, and passed to next manager.
All players are also advised to follow the social media handles and to visit the iSoccer website frequently.
