Napoli winger, Matteo Politano was clearly infuriated when manager Rudi Garcia replaced him in the second half of their Serie A encounter with Fiorentina.
The Italy international ultimately becomes the third player from the team to do so in the early part of the season. Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia had previously experienced similar minor circumstances.
According to Il Mattino as reported by Cult of Calcio, the 30-year-old was substituted in the 12th minute of the second half. Jens-Lys Cajuste entered without being greeted, and he waved his arm at the coach to show his displeasure.
The French gaffer is receiving criticism for his perplexing substitutions. They had little real influence and might have even made situations worse.
Frank Anguissa had a left thigh injury in the first half, so Garcia replaced him with Giacomo Raspadori to make the lineup more offensive.
Shortly after the break, he had a change of heart and went back to his standard tactic, fielding a box-to-box midfielder in Politano’s place.
During the break, the boss will try to mend some of the ties in the dressing room. Late last week, he exchanged insults with Mario Rui’s agent.

He responded to Mario Giuffredi’s outburst by claiming that the fullback didn’t agree with him. The agent then charged him with fabricating information.
