Everton midfielder, Idrissa Gueye has reportedly returned to full training after missing out on some games in boost for Sean Dyche as they are billed for a Premier League clash with their City rivals, Liverpool.
This is a welcome boost for the manager, whose players suffer no injury throughout the just concluded international break.
After defeating Bournemouth 3-0 at home prior to the international break, the Toffees will enter the contest with confidence that they can have a strong starting lineup when they travel to Anfield this weekend.
What Has Been Reported About Gueye’s Injury Status?
According to Liverpool World, Gueye is expected to pass a late fitness test before the game, though, it seems he won’t be thrown straight back to the starting eleven fold.
This is largely because of the excellent forms of both Amadou Onana and James Garner who has been impressive for the team in the last games.
Dyche revealed that Andre Gomes and Dele Alli remain long-term absentees.
While Seamus Coleman has made his first appearance back in team training He won’t be participating this weekend though, as it has only been one session and he will need time to regain his full fitness.
Liverpool on the other hand have a few problems of their own. Curtis Jones is still serving his suspension for his straight red card against Tottenham.
And they have important players (Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Alisson Becker, and Alexis Mac Allister) returning after a lengthy trip to South America, which may influence Klopp’s decisions.
