Hargreaves Advises Premier League Manager To Sign £75M Rated Forward

Former Premier League star, Owen Hargreaves has urged West Ham United manager, David Moyes to make a transfer move for Brentford striker, Ivan Toney.

Though the London club appear integrated right now, failing to sign a new front man could have a devastating effect during a difficult and lengthy season.

Hargreaves claimed the striking department needs to be given priority in January even though David Moyes and Tim Steidten made excellent summer acquisitions in different areas of the team.

Toney, who is set to return from an eight-month ban in January, is a player the Hammers should target, according to the former Manchester United midfielder turned pundit.

Though it would be intriguing to see whether West Ham would financially go above and beyond for him. Though, he is unlikely to come cheap.

“Ivan Toney is the one who screams out,” he said on Premier League Productions, Caught Offside reports.

“Benrahma can play off the left. Kudus can play off one of those wide areas.

“I think Moyes has got the players. Maybe get a Toney in, if you could. But I just think you have to get Kudus in the side, then allow Paqueta to play central. He is easily their best player.”

The Hammers need to bring in a top-tier striker to lessen the scoring load on the aging tandem of Danny Ings and Michail Antonio. Even as the club have scored a respectable 16 goals in their first nine Premier League games.

Moyes may have a difficult time persuading Toney that the London Stadium should be his next stop in his career. Since it is rumored that London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal may also be interested in the player’s services.
