‘I Don’t Think Man Utd Will Finish In The Top Five’ – Gary Neville Makes Bold Prediction That Would Leave Red Devils

Gary Neville believes Arsenal will win the Premier League this season, despite being two points behind leaders Tottenham.

The Gunners have started the season undefeated. They have won convincingly over champions Manchester City and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United, but they have also lost points to Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur, and, most recently, Chelsea.

Arsenal is third in the rankings, level on points with second-placed Manchester City. Neville predicted Mikel Arteta’s side would win the title before the season began and isn’t looking back, while admitting Tottenham’s strong start under new manager Ange Postecoglou has surprised him.

Worryingly for United fans, Neville feels Ten Hag’s club will finish sixth this season, putting them out of contention for a Champions League spot.
The Red Devils have made a poor start to the campaign, sitting eight points behind Spurs in eighth.

Neville gave his updated predictions during a Q&A on X. He backed Arsenal to win the Premier League, described Tottenham as the team that’s surprised him the most and insisted United would finish sixth. Gunners fans will be pleased to hear his prediction.

Arsenal were leading the Premier League title race race for much of last season, but Neville always knew they’d crumble at the finish line. As we now know, the Sky Sports pundit was right – but Arteta’s men will be champions come May if he’s right again.

That’s because Neville backed Arsenal to win the Premier League in August during an episode of The Overlap. He suspects it’ll be difficult for City to win the title again because no team in the history of English football have won four championships in a row.
