Manchester United and England defender Luke Shaw has returned to training after a lengthy injury layoff, the club announced on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old left-back suffered a “muscle issue” early in the season but is back in full training ahead of Sunday’s Premier League match against Everton.
Shaw’s absence has caused a difficulty at left back, as Tyrell Malacia has been out with an injury all season.Reported by Punch
Sergio Reguilon was loaned in from Tottenham, and Sofyan Amrabat, Diogo Dalot, and Victor Lindelof have also played in the position.

Shaw was a major component of United’s success last season, and he has been missed as Erik ten Hag’s team has had an inconsistent start to the season.
