Jarrad Branthwaite of Everton has some high-profile fans.
The youthful centre-back, who is having a fantastic season after developing a great relationship with James Tarkowski, is reported to have piqued the interest of both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
According to a recent Dailymail article, another club has also included the 21-year-old on their shortlist.
Real Madrid, under the direction of Carlo Ancelotti, who knows Branthwaite from his time managing the Toffees, are believed to be huge admirers of the Carlisle-born defender and could look to bring him to Spain.

The youngster’s ability to manage the strain of such a high-profile move remains to be seen, but the La Liga giants will continue to watch the defender’s mentality ahead of a potential blockbuster summer move.
Branthwaite, who has three and a half years left on his contract, has already appeared in 21 games for Everton since returning from a season-long loan with PSV in the summer.
Everton would not consider selling Branthwaite cheaply particularly with their financial position but rival clubs believe they are vulnerable to offers regardless of the proposed takeover from 777 Partners.
Italian side Atalanta have been deterred though over a move for Everton’s Ben Godfrey because of the overall costs. Arsenal retain an interest in Amadou Onana.
