Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has reportedly ruled out Arsenal completing a move for in-demand Brentford striker, Ivan Toney.
Since the FA charged Toney with gambling offenses, he has been absent for eight months. But starting on January 17, the forward suspension will be lifted. And it is anticipated that he will immediately return to the Bees starting lineup.

According to Football London, in an interview with his podcast Vibe with Five, Ferdinand insisted that the 27-year-old won’t be leaving Thomas Frank’s squad this month. He stated plainly: “No way. Toney don’t go to Arsenal. Brentford fan telling you. Facts.”
Toney, 27, is concentrated on getting on the field and proved he hasn’t lost a step by scoring a hat-trick for Brentford’s B team against Southampton U23s.
“It’s always unfinished business when you haven’t been playing for a while,” the England international told the Mirror.
“I know that there are a lot of people thinking: ‘Can he do this, or can he do that?’, or: ‘How’s he gonna be when he gets back?’ I know what I’m capable of, so I guess when I get onto the pitch I’ll just do what I do best.”
