Wolves star Hwang Hee-Chan was injured and missed South Korea’s Asia Cup victory over Bahrain.
According to Express and Star, In Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, South Korea defeated Bahrain 3-1 to begin their Asia Cup campaign, but the forward was absent because of a left hip issue.
South Korea took the lead through Hwang In-beom, but Al Hashash tied the score for Bahrain before Lee Kang-in braced his country to victory in their first Group E match.

It is now a race against time for Hwang to recover in time for South Korea’s upcoming match, which is against Jordan on Saturday, followed by their final group match against Malaysia on Thursday.
Hwang, who has 11 goals for Wolves this season, may stay in Qatar through February 10 if Jurgen Klinsmann’s team advances to the championship game.
Hwang might therefore be unable to attend Wolves’ Premier League games against Brentford, Brighton, Manchester United, and Chelsea.
