Jose Mourinho is reportedly said to welcome the return to Chelsea if an offer comes in following his sacking from Roma on Tuesday.
According to TEAMtalk as reported by CaughtOffside, the former Blues manager would “not hesitate” to return to his former team.
Mourinho, 60, is currently unemployed as a result of his firing by Roma yesterday.
Though he is able to take a break from the game. It is thought that the 60-year-old is keen to get back to the dug-out as soon as possible.
And since Chelsea have been struggling under Todd Boehly’s leadership since Roman Abramohivic left, even neutrals will find it fascinating that Mourinho could replace Mauricio Pochettino as Chelsea’s manager.

However, it doesn’t seem like a move that will happen anytime soon. It was also claimed that Boehly and co have “no plans” to axe Pochettino, so Mourinho is forced to look elsewhere.
Over the course of his two stints at Stamford Bridge between 2004 and 2015, Mourinho won eight major trophies, including three Premier League titles, in his five years there.
After his second spell at the west London club, the Portuguese went on to manage three more clubs – Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and most recently, Roma.
The two-time UEFA Champions League winner with Porto and Inter Milan won the Europa Conference League in his first season at the Italian capital.
Following a string of poor results, he was eventually relieved of his managerial duties by the I Giallorossi hierarchy.
