Manchester United iconic manager, sir Alex Ferguson has paid a special tribute to Javier Hernandez after he completed a move back to his boyhood club, Chivas.

Hernandez has made 505 career appearances and scored 195 goals. He played for United, Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, and West Ham United. He also starred for Sevilla and LA Galaxy in Major League Soccer.

Sir Alex made the decision to post a message to Chicharito after his journey came full circle following his initial transfer from Chivas to United in 2010.

Hailed for his ‘fantastic’ performances for United, the legendary Scot praised his career and predicted even greater success for him in his native Mexico.

What Did Ferguson Say About Hernandez’s Career?

“Chicharito, it’s your old boss here,” Sir Alex said, the Daily Mail echoed.

“First of all I want to congratulate you on your return to your old club. Back to Mexico where it all started where I found you, signed you and you were a great, fantastic player for us.

“You’ve had a great career and I think now you’ve an opportunity at your old club to add your experience and give your experience to all the players there.

“So regards to your family, have a great family and more goals to come.”
