Casemiro Talks About His Future At Manchester United Amid Transfer Ties To Saudi Arabia

Insisting that he is “very happy” at Manchester United, Casemiro has endorsed Erik ten Hag as the manager who can lead the team to success.

According to Manchester United News, Although an exit seems unlikely, the Manchester Evening News understands that United is open to considering offers for the Brazilian in the coming days. When it comes to transfers, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is expected to take a more brutal stance. Casemiro is one elderly player who may be let go in the summer due to recent rumors that he may be moving to Saudi Arabia.

Just 15 months have passed since the 31-year-old midfielder’s arrival at Old Trafford, and he had an incredible debut campaign. Nevertheless, concerns have been raised about his long-term contribution at United, who gave him a five-year contract upon his arrival in 2022, due to his decline in play before his hamstring injury.

But according to Casemiro, he is loving his stay at Old Trafford and is grateful for the club’s support. He declared, “I’m very happy at Manchester United,” in an interview with CNN. The fans have always supported me, as I have always stated. I’m always treated well at the club.”

Ratcliffe is believed to support Ten Hag, who, despite a dismal current season, may have time in the bank after last year’s exploits. However, INEOS may have to consider its options if the results continue to decline.

After making his injury comeback against Newport on Sunday, Casemiro praised Ten Hag’s qualities and said he is the ideal manager for the new administration.

He said: “I’m not the person who decides who should be manager. We have qualified people to decide that but [Ten Hag] showed last season he can grow Manchester United.

“Last season we had really good growth and the team was trending upwards. Of course, Manchester United always needs more and more and always needs to be winning but we showed last season that we are capable of achieving great things.”
