As they contemplate a move for the former Tottenham star, Chelsea is keeping an eye on Harry Kane’s circumstances at Bayern Munich.
After leaving Spurs for Bayern during the summer, Kane has had an incredible first season in Germany, leading all players in Europe’s top five leagues in goals scored (25).
1XBet states that Bayern, however, is now eight points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen following their weekend loss at Bochum. The German powerhouses also suffered a 1-0 first-leg loss to Lazio in the Champions League last week.
Furthermore, rumors have it that Kane is not totally content in Germany and might be enticed to return to the Premier League.
A striker of Kane’s caliber would be highly desirable to Chelsea, who are looking to add a marquee player this summer.
Kane would team up with Mauricio Pochettino at Stamford Bridge; the two had previously collaborated at Tottenham during their separate tenures with the north London team.

In an effort to soften their stance toward the 30-year-old, the Blues are reportedly willing to match the amount Bayern paid for Kane last summer.
Kane would have the opportunity to chase down Alan Shearer’s Premier League goal total if he were to return to England. The Bayern star is currently 47 goals shy of matching Shearer’s 260-goal total.
