Veteran Barcelona defender Sergi Roberto has reportedly been considering a move to a Major League Soccer team for some time, and it’s possible that he will depart at the end of the current campaign, according to a Mundo Deportivo article.
At Barcelona, 32-year-old Roberto has played his entire career. He was on the verge of quitting the Blaugrana last summer when they started looking into ways to reduce their payroll.

In the end, though, Xavi asked for the defender’s contract to be renewed; yet, because his deal ends in the summer, speculation regarding his future has surfaced once again.
As a result, the previously mentioned site stated that although he had the choice to relocate to Saudi Arabia, he is solely considering going to the US.
