Former Manchester United duo, Roy Keane and Gary Neville clash over their predictions in the upcoming blockbuster game between Manchester City and Arsenal, with the former telling the latter, ‘you are getting kidded’.
On Sunday afternoon, Arsenal will play the defending champions at the Etihad, hoping to get a four-point lead over their opponents to start the final stretch.
The match is nearly the exact replica of the same match from the previous season, when Arsenal lost 4-1 in late April. Effectively ending their chances of winning the league title even though they had led the table the whole time.
With a year of experience and strong form heading into the match, Mikel Arteta’s team will be hoping to exact revenge for that loss.
Speaking on The Overlap as reported by Daily Mail, Keane argued that the Gunners just won’t win the match. And he got into a heated argument with co-hosts Ian Wright and Gary Neville about how he thought it would go.
How The Conversation Between Wright, Keane And Neville Went
‘We’re beating them,’ Wright began. ‘You know why I’m saying that? We have to beat them.’
‘That doesn’t mean you’re going to win,’ Keane responded.
‘I think you have to beat them,’ Neville interrupted.
‘Why should I not think we can beat them?’ Wright argued. ‘We’ve got a great defensive record and we’re scoring goals. Why should I now go negative on my team?’
Neville then gave his prediction, backing Arsenal, with Jill Scott questioning the view, replying: ‘Arsenal are not going to win this game.’
‘I’m going for Arsenal,’ Neville claimed, going against Keane’s view, before turning to Scott and scoffing: ‘Oh, you’re City, aren’t you?’

‘This is big boy stuff now,’ Keane said. ‘Arsenal are not winning there. Arsenal are not winning at Man City.’
‘I’m going 2-1 City,’ he continued. ‘Arsenal are not winning there. You’re getting kidded, I’m telling you.’
