Joao Felix gained notoriety on Monday when he revealed that Bernardo Silva wants to join Barcelona.
The forward previously disclosed in an interview conducted last week that he has conversations with his fellow citizen about the Blaugrana club.
Adding to that, the Atletico Madrid forward on loan claimed to have nearly persuaded Silva to sign with Barcelona.
“What I stated about Bernardo Silva was accurate. He has inquired about places to live in Barcelona, restaurants, local safety, and tax matters. a tiny bit of everything.
“I believe I’ve persuaded Bernardo to visit Barcelona, but it’s not a given,”

The 29-year-old has been under the Catalan team’s radar for a while; last summer, attempts were made to sign him, but to no avail.
Barca Universe reflects that Bernardo has long been thrilled about the prospect of playing in Spain, specifically for Barca, according to Romano.
Assuming an agreement is reached, it would be reasonable to assume that the Portuguese international would be open to moving to Barcelona in the summer.
Nevertheless, Romano continued, saying that Barcelona’s Financial Fair Play circumstances would determine if they made a move for Silva.
With a £50 million release clause, the 29-year-old inked a new deal with Man City last summer.
Nevertheless, given that the Catalans are also pursuing a few other significant acquisitions, it is currently unclear if Barcelona would be able to spend that much money on the player.
