Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson was inundated with messages from fans after his phone number was released prior to his team’s triumph over Tottenham on Tuesday night.
The Brazilian shot-stopper shared a screenshot of his messages, which appeared to be mostly from Arsenal fans attempting to put him off ahead of their game against north London rivals Tottenham.
One fan wrote, “Up the Arsenal,” while another said, “Hello you beautiful Brazilian god, how much for a good night tonight?”

Ederson appears to have erased what could have been the more fruitful comments he made just before the Spurs game, which he uploaded on social media with the caption: “My number was leaked, and I had some funny messages.”
The 30-year-old had a mixed evening, beginning with the phone number leak and ending with a head injury in the second half. Reported By Daily Star.
Pep Guardiola said his keeper had blurred vision before being replaced by Stefan Ortega on doctor’s orders, prompting Ederson’s angry reaction to being taken out of a Premier League game for the fourth time this season.
“Ederson has a kick in the eye and it’s swollen,” said the Man City boss.
“He couldn’t see properly. The doctor said I had to replace him. When the doctors say that I don’t have an alternative.
“I understand [Ederson’s reaction], he wants to play. I understand.”
However, City took a huge step towards a fourth straight title by beating Spurs 2-0, courtesy of a second-half double by Erling Haaland.
