Juventus has reached out to Thiago Motta of Bologna in an attempt to find a successor for departing manager Massimiliano Allegri.
With two games remaining in his Serie A campaign, Allegri is expected to conclude his second stint as manager of the Turin club.
The team is now positioned fourth in the table.
The Italian, who has won five Serie A titles with the Old Lady, also won the Coppa Italia in his final season in command.

After a successful stint leading Bologna, Thiago Motta’s time is over, and Juventus is eager to have him join the team.
Since taking over Bologna in September 2022, the Brazilian-born Italian international has had his finest season to date. His team is presently third in the Serie A standings, ahead of Juventus.
Juventus Interested In Thiago Motta
According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus has extended a three-year contract offer to the 41-year-old and Motta is expected to notify them of his choice regarding his future soon.
Metro states that CEO of Bologna Claudio Fenucci acknowledged that he had little control over his manager’s destiny after earning Champions League football for the upcoming season.
Fenucci stated to Sky Sport Italia, “Only Thiago knows what he will do next and soon we will all know.” “I stick to what he said in his most recent interview, which is that he will tell everyone when he has something new to say.”
We will discuss in the coming days; he is aware that we would like to work with him going forward because of everything he has contributed to the squad, not just their results. It would be fantastic to carry on together; we must now speak with him.
“Thiago represented something new, a different model of football and football culture, when we hired him.” He was able to absorb those ideas about managing teams because he played in large clubs.
