Former Manchester United manager David Moyes has landed a new job just days after leaving West Ham United, and he will appear on television this summer.
The 61-year-old Scot returned to West Ham in December 2019 and led the London team to Europa Conference League glory last season, the Hammers’ first major trophy in 43 years.

However, Moyes, who had managed Preston North End, Sunderland, Everton, Real Sociedad, and Manchester United, left West Ham at the end of the Premier League season. Julen Lopetegui has since taken over as West Ham’s new head coach.
Moyes has been connected with Russian club Spartak Moscow. But over the summer, he’ll be on TV as a pundit for the European Championships. Moyes has been announced as part of the BBC’s coverage in Germany, with former Everton star Wayne Rooney and former Toffees manager Frank Lampard. Both Moyes’ Scotland and England will compete in the tournament this summer.
Meanwhile, incoming West Ham manager Lopetegui told West Ham TV: “I am really thrilled, first and foremost, to be able to be a part of the future of this great club. We’ll aim to put our stamp on the club.
“I believe we have a tremendous platform. Of course, I believe that the last few years have been very beneficial to have this foundation, but my ambition as a coach is to continue to progress, to reach greater and bigger goals, to motivate and improve the players, the squad, and to compete, because that is what football is all about. We’re pretty ambitious about this.”
