Fans React: Rodrygo Drops A Shocking Hint On His Future At Real Madrid

Real Madrid star Rodrygo seemed to have spoken to DAZN Espana about leaving the team a few days before the Champions League final. This has angered some of the team’s supporters.

Rodrygo retweeted a post on X stating that his entourage had denied he intended to quit Los Blancos and that his comments could have been mistranslated after a little clip of an interview that would be released in full on Thursday appeared on social media.

Rodrygo is questioned if he wants to stay at Madrid “forever” in the 36-second teaser in question while seated across from DAZN host Sandra Diaz Arcas.

He replies, “Yes, well…,” but he also continues, “Anything can happen.” Here, I may have a contract, but I’m not sure.”

He then adds, “The years I’ve been here have been a pleasure for me.” The presenter begs Rodrygo not to worry his club, to which he responds, “No, no. I’ve always expressed my desire to attend this club, but we’ll see.”

Fans Dissapointed At Rodrygo Statement

Some fans have expressed anger in the comments area of the X post that DAZN used to distribute the video.

They have questioned things like “what is this about three days before a Champions League final?”

Four days before a Champions League final, this individual makes these [comments] after putting up a bad show for three months.

Another spectator remarked, “I would leave him on the bench and [make] a clear sale in the summer.”

Some, on the other hand, were furious with the broadcaster for allegedly “manipulating” Rodrygo’s interview and creating the impression that he is considering leaving in a video that looks to have been severely altered.

A complete viewing of the interview will give much more background, and Rodrygo has partially refuted rumors that he is thinking of quitting the club where he has been hanging out since 2019, reports Forbes.
