Man United Table £51M Bid To Sign French Talent

Manchester United have reportedly submitted a substantial proposal to sign LOSC Lille defender Leny Yoro ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils are said to be looking to upgrade their aging backline in the upcoming transfer window after a disappointing season.

Since Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof’s futures are currently uncertain, United have already chosen to let Raphael Varane leave the team.

Several defenders, including Jarrad Branthwaite, Goncalo Inacio, and Antonio Silva, have been identified as major targets for United. However, Yoro is now starting to emerge as a major contender.

According to Marca as reported Football Talk, the Premier League giants are eager to sign Yoro, and they have already put in a £51 million bid to do so this summer.

According to the report, United are eager to sign the 18-year-old and are prepared to agree to any demands made by Lille in order to entice the defender to move to Old Trafford.

The Spanish publication goes on to say that Real Madrid are also keen to sign him and that the player is eager to play for Los Blancos. Marca claims that Carlo Ancelotti’s side have already told the player’s camp that he will have to wait to join and are not in a rush to sign the player.

It appears to be a challenging situation for the all-time record Premier League champions. But if they move quickly, they may be able to capitalize on Real Madrid’s calmed attitude.

Lille may be keen to cash in on Yoro in the upcoming weeks as his current contract expires at the end of the following season. With the fear that they may lose him for nothing the following year.
