Man City Line Up Move For Midfielder Getting Set For Euro 2024

Manchester City are reportedly planning a move for Crystal Palace midfielder, Adam Wharton as they see him as a signing for the future.

According to The Standard as claimed by Caught Offside, the English midfielder has impressed the Sky Blues, and they plan to make a move for him in the future.

Wharton was included in the final Three Lions squad by England manager Gareth Southgate, and he will play in the Euro this summer.

Although they see the midfielder as a future target and will probably make a move for him when they revamp their midfield. The Premier League champions have no plans to pursue him this summer.

Since moving from Blackburn to Crystal Palace in January, the 20-year-old has proven to be a valuable member of the team.

The midfield player, who inked a long-term deal at Selhurst Park, had a strong season finale under Oliver Glasner’s leadership.

Palace will not allow the youngster to leave the team, as was to be expected.

After this summer, when the midfielder joins England for the Euros, Wharton’s reputation will increase.

Given that Matheus Nunes has struggled since joining from Wolves and that Kalvin Phillips is expected to depart the team soon enough. City may need to make some midfield additions soon.
