Ruud van Nistelrooy will make a spectacular comeback to Manchester United this summer as a member of Erik ten Hag’s coaching staff.

Van Nistelrooy managed PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands from 2022 to 2023. He is rumored to be in negotiations to return to Old Trafford.

United is expected to shuffle his backroom staff ahead of the preseason after being elected to retain Ten Hag in command after an end-of-season review.

According to the Dutch publication Algemeen Dagblad (AD), both sides are enthusiastic about a deal, and Van Nistelrooy is anticipated to sign a long-term contract.
