Erik Ten Hag ‘By All Means’ Wants Dybala At Old Trafford

Paulo Dybala is still uncalled by Roma for a new deal and Argentinean rumors indicate that Erik ten Hag wants the standout attacker to play for Manchester United.

With 12 months remaining on his Giallorossi contract, the 30-year-old Argentine striker has a €12 million release clause that becomes activated in the first two weeks of July, giving prospective suitors access to the player during the impending summer transfer window.

Dybala is anticipating a call from Roma regarding a new deal, which should come once preseason training gets underway next month.

As the transfer market draws near, club CEO Lina Souloukou and sports director Florent Ghisolfi are weighing their alternatives.

Given that Dybala has an open release clause at Roma,  Ten Hag is eager to transfer the Argentinean striker to Manchester United this summer.

His current season salary, net of add-ons, is around €6.5 million, reports Football Italia

Although the 30-year-old hasn’t seemed to be pushing for a transfer away from the Giallorossi, the Premier League is an intriguing alternative, and he would be open to signing a new deal in the Italian city.

Dybala signed a three-year deal with Roma on July 20, 2022, and it expires on June 30, 2025. He played his first game for the team on August 14 in a Serie A away victory against Salernitana.

The Argentine Player opened the score in the 2023 UEFA Europa League final, which Roma ultimately lost to Sevilla on penalties. He earned his first hat-trick for the team on February 26, 2024, during a 3-2 Serie A home victory against Torino.
