Barcelona Star Future In Doubt Due To Registration Issues

The future of Barcelona forward, Vitor Roque at the Camp Nou continues to hang in the air due to registration problems.

According to Mundo Deportivo as reported by Barca Universal, since Gavi was replaced by the Brazilian with a temporary registration, which has now expired. The club must register him as a new signing and amortize his €30 million transfer fee plus an additional €31 million.

Roque’s future has been discussed since Xavi left because the now ex-manager did not see him as a part of his ambitions.

But with Hansi Flick at the helm, it was inevitable that Roque’s circumstances would change. His future is once again in jeopardy due to Barcelona’s difficulties with Financial Fair Play standards, despite earlier reports suggesting he may continue at the club.

Even though Roque is the only squad member seen as an alternative to Robert Lewandowski, his registration is still pending. And he is not taken into consideration in Barca’s plans.

Consequently, European clubs such as Serie A outfits, Fiorentina and Napoli have expressed interest in signing the Brazilian talent.

Roque is already interested in signing with Fiorentina on a loan, with the possibility of a permanent deal pending fulfillment of specific requirements.

However, Napoli are in need of a replacement for Victor Osimhen, who is willing to leave the team this summer. Antonio Conte, the club’s new manager, is open to signing Roque on a loan or a permanent basis.

Roque is apparently also wanted by FC Porto, but the transfer has stalled when Barcelona tried to include him in a deal for Pepe, the Portuguese team’s winger.
