Wolves Aim Brutal Dig At Chelsea Following Transfer Hijack

Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced the signing of Brazilian starlet, Pedro Lima with an outrageous dig at Chelsea following their failure to sign to the defender.

Lima appeared to be the latest member of the Blues’ plan to add young players to their squad with the intention of flipping them for a profit.

There was a verbal agreement between the 18-year-old and Chelsea, but Wolves pulled out at the last minute, taking a savage jab at the Blues in their official statement. Matheus Cunha, another Brazilian who may have been involved in the deal, was the focal point of Wolves’ video.

An update from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on Chelsea’s move for Lima was displayed on a computer screen during the 58-second film that was posted on X (formerly Twitter). It was presented as though it was from Cunha’s perspective. However, the muted post later saw Lima walk through the office door.

Lima was certain to land at Stamford Bridge, but Cunha alerted Chelsea to the possibility of a move to Wolves during the negotiations.

“Pedro Lima is a talent, he has a bright future. He is from Paraiba who comes to Recife and has a very similar story to me. I wish him the best,” Cunha told Brazilian news outlet Globo Esporte.

“I wanted him to be playing with me because I think Wolves were also interested. But he made his decision, Chelsea is a great club and I hope he plays and I hope to play against him often.”
