Zlatan Ibrahimovic reveals Joshua Zirkzee is no longer available to AC Milan after player agrees to join Manchester United.
Zirkzee’s contract with Bologna has a release clause of €40 million (£33.7 million). The Serie A club had held lengthy negotiations to recruit the striker, and it is believed that they had reached a personal terms agreement with him last month.
The agreement was on hold because AC Milan wouldn’t give Kia Joorabchian, Zirkzee’s agent, an extra €15 million (£12.6 million) in commission.
Due to the delay, United was able to go forward and now that Zirkzee has been persuaded during direct negotiations with Erik ten Hag, he is expected to join the Premier League team.
United has notified Bologna that they are prepared to activate his release clause, reports Metro

Senior advisor to AC Milan Ibrahimovic said the Italian team is now trying to recruit a different striker in place of Zirkzee.
