Arsenal Reject Multiple Transfer Offers For Portuguese Midfielder Fabio Vieira

Arsenal has turned down several transfer bids for Portuguese midfielder Fabio Vieira this summer.

The Saudi Pro League, Serie A, and Bundesliga have all expressed interest in signing the player, reports Caughtoffside

This is according to Graeme Bailey of TBR, who also notes that despite Vieira’s modest effect during his brief stay at the Emirates Stadium thus far, the 24-year-old appears ready to play a more significant part for Mikel Arteta’s team this season.

In his two years at Arsenal, Vieira has demonstrated some promise but his lack of consistency in performance has prevented him from earning a permanent spot in Arteta’s starting lineup.

It appears that Arsenal has not been eager to include Vieira among the players on their roster for a possible summer transfer.

The Gunners are rumored to have turned down many bids for the player from Saudi Arabian and European teams.

Given that Arsenal appears to be selling certain players, is it wise to hold onto Vieira even though players like Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson could be leaving?

Some Arsenal supporters would undoubtedly prefer to see Vieira depart than Smith Rowe or Nelson since they have a particular place in their hearts for their homegrown players.

There is also a chance that AFC will earn handsomely from the sale of former academy stars.
