Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly revealed that Real Madrid will be the last club he would be in charge of in his coaching career.
The Italian manager will remain at the Bernabéu past the age of 67 because of his contract with Real Madrid, which runs until June 2026.
“I think this will be my last club,” Ancelotti told told the Obi One Podcast as revealed by ESPN.
“If there is an opportunity for a national team, I don’t know. I’m not so excited at coaching a national team because I would lose what I like most, the day-to-day. I really enjoy what I’m doing.
“This is my season number 29 as a coach. It’s true that I have won a lot but imagine the number of titles I lost.”
Ancelotti has led some of the biggest teams in the world, including AC Milan, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, and Madrid, where he won league titles, domestic cups, and European honors.
Last season, Ancelotti won La Liga, the Champions League, and the Spanish Super Cup. He made his way back to the Bernabéu in 2021 for his second stint as manager.
Ancelotti became the most successful coach in the history of the European primary club competition with his fifth Champions League victory.
