Real Madrid are reportedly still awaiting offers for Dani Ceballos, who is willing to depart the club before the end of the summer transfer window.
A lot of people were speculating about Ceballos’ future heading into the summer.
After all, despite agreeing to a new long-term contract with the team, the recently turned 28-year-old Spaniard hardly featured in the 2023–24 season.
Real Madrid still have a ton of alternatives in the midfield even after Toni Kroos departed.
Due to a change in formation, Jude Bellingham will also play in the middle of the park this season. While Arda Guler is also viewed as a midfielder, increasing contention for spots.
According to Madrid Universal, Ceballos has requested to leave Real Madrid this summer, with the club yet to receive any offers for him.
Prior rumors indicated that Atletico Madrid were interested in the Spain international. But they have since moved on to other targets to bolster their midfield rank.
Ceballos was also linked to a transfer to his old club, Real Betis, but Los Verdiblancos aren’t in a condition to pay his salary and transfer fee.

With just over two weeks until the transfer window closes, there have been no proposals made for the Spanish midfield player as of yet.
It’s not out of the question that Ceballos continues at the Santiago Bernabeu if nothing changes.
