Cole Palmer Now Tied To Chelsea Till 2033

Cole Palmer has signed a new two-year contract deal with Chelsea, tying him to Stamford Bridge until 2033, reports GiveMeSport

The attacker, who cost the Blues an extravagant £40 million to acquire from Manchester City in the summer, had an enormous influence on the team, tallying more goals and assists than any other Premier League player.

As a result, he was called up to the England squad for Euro 2024. There, he scored the equalizer in the final match against Spain after coming off the bench to put up Ollie Watkins’ winning goal in the semifinal.

Palmer has been an absolute success story, but Chelsea has been under intense scrutiny in the two years since Clearlake purchased the team from Roman Abramovich for their transfer strategy.

Palmer became one of the finest players in the division in his one and only season in west London, recording 25 goals and 15 assists across all competitions.

Despite only agreeing to a seven-year contract with a one-year option last summer, the club rewarded him for his outstanding play in his first season, thus the contract is on new terms.

Due to his responsibilities with England at Euro 2024, Palmer hasn’t played for Chelsea in preseason play under new boss Enzo Maresca yet, but he is anticipated to play when the Blues play Man City in their season opener on Sunday.
