Negotiations have already been completed for Ilkay Gundogan and Vitor Roque to leave the team and it now seems as though Mika Faye may be the next to leave the team.

In fact, Mika Faye is reportedly only a step away from joining Rennes of Ligue 1 after leaving Barcelona, according to writer Daniele Longo as reported by Barca Universal

The Senegalese international, 20, is reportedly about to sign a €10 million permanent contract with the French club.

Barcelona will also have the option to purchase back the center back, however it is unknown how much that option will cost.

Faye only joined Barça last summer after agreeing to a transfer costing about €1.5 million. The club would make seven times more money if he left for a €10 million price.

The 20-year-old made a significant impact with Barça Atletic the previous season, but he was unable to persuade Hansi Flick to give him a starting berth in the starting lineup during the preseason.

Faye appears to have chosen to join Rennes over offers from other teams, like as Lille and PSV Eindhoven.
