Crystal Palace are reportedly planning a move for Chelsea forward, Raheem Sterling before the end of the summer transfer window.
Sterling is among the players the Blues are trying to let go of before the deadline since he is no longer a part of the club’s project.
Chelsea are in a hurry to find a way to let go of the 29-year-old, who earns over £300,000 a week at the moment.
Pedro Neto, the latest recruit, now wears Sterling’s number seven shirt, signaling the end of the 29-year-old’s stint at Stamford Bridge.
Although it’s been said that Sterling is willing to accept a wage decrease for the right project. It is unknown how much of a market there is for him or how much Chelsea are willing to let the winger go for.
According to Daily Mail as reported by Caught Offside, Crystal Palace are among the teams interested in the England international. They are currently enquiring about the terms and likelihood of a deal.
According to the report, Sterling has drawn some initial attention from Aston Villa and Juventus earlier this month.

Sterling left Manchester City for Chelsea in 2022 in a deal worth £50 million. But it is safe to say that his time at Stamford Bridge hasn’t lived up to the hype.
It’s no secret that Chelsea want the Englishman to put his name off on his lucrative deal because he has mostly struggled and was occasionally jeered by the Chelsea supporters during the previous season.
