FC Barcelona has finally registered Dani Olmo in La Liga, in time for tonight’s league game against Rayo Vallecano.
The 26-year-old joined Barcelona from RB Leipzig for €55 million, plus a further €7 million in add-ons.
However, over three weeks after his arrival, Barça struggled to register him in La Liga due to a shortage of salary space.Reported by 50 min.
As a result, the Blaugrana parted ways with Ilkay Gundogan, Clement Lenglet, Vitor Roque, and Mika Faye, but Olmo’s registration remained pending.

Finally, Barcelona chose to capitalize on Andreas Christensen’s injury by signing Olmo.
The Catalans used a similar tactic to register Inigo Martinez, taking advantage of Ronald Araujo’s injury-enforced absence.
Now, there are concerns about how things will go if Christensen returns from his injury sooner than expected, despite his camp saying that he will be out for a few months.
However, Barcelona has told the Dane that the Financial Fair Play issue will be handled shortly and that he will be permitted to play once he recovers from his injury.
