Alexander Isak Demonstrates Class With ‘Generous’ Gesture Before Newcastle United Transfer Vow

Alexander Isak may have struggled in front of goal in black and white this season, but the Swede has started strong on international duty, scoring twice against Azerbaijan on Thursday evening.

Isak’s side won 3-1 to begin off their Nations League campaign, with the Newcastle United striker scoring the first two goals in the second half. When asked about his gesture, Isak told reporters that’sometimes you need to be generous’. “We talked about it, and we both wanted to take the penalty,” the Newcastle favourite told former West Brom defender Jonas Olsson, who was reporting for ViaPlay. According to Sky Sport.

“But I said that he had assisted me two times so he could take the penalty. Otherwise I would probably wanted to have a hat-trick, but sometimes you need to be generous.

“It was two fantastic assists from Viktor). We talked before (the game) that we need to have a good connection between each other and I think that we showed that today.”
