Bayern Munich star, Jamal Musiala has reportedly played down talks linking him to Manchester United following a chat with Joshua Zirkzee during the international break.
Jamal Musiala joined Bayern Munich’s senior team at the age of 17. The 21-year-old has already established himself as one of the world’s top players. Bayern swiftly signed Musiala to a five-year contract after his first season of success. And they are already negotiating another extension to keep him in Munich for the remainder of his twenties.
Musiala and Joshua Zirkzee, another academy graduate, rose through the ranks at Säbener Strasse quite fast. Zirkzee’s professional journey has taken him to Belgium, Italy, and now England. Despite this, the two have stayed close and have even gone on holiday together.
According to Bayern Football Works, Musiala was recently questioned about getting signed to play with Zirkzee at Manchester United in an interview (via @iMiaSanMia).

Musiala swiftly shot back: “You always joke around with friends and dream of playing together in the same team one day. The jokes go both ways: I also told Josh that he should come back to Bayern. But you shouldn’t take that too seriously.”
Hopefully, Bayern can tie down Musiala without any issues as soon as possible. Neither money nor friendly recruiting should stand in the way of Musiala’s potential to lead the team for the next decade or so. He possesses the ability and leadership traits to do so.
