Liverpool Manager, Arne Slot has reportedly revealed that Alisson Becker may miss the Reds Premier League home clash against Bournemouth as he is nursing a minor injury he picked up before their Champions League opener.
According to Daily Express, Slot stated that since Liverpool’s triumph against AC Milan, Alisson has not been present in training. “It happened a bit before the Milan game but after he felt it more and more,” the Reds’ boss revealed.
Although he might resume training on Friday, Caoimhin Kelleher is prepared to fill in, as he often did during the previous campaign.
To keep the injury from getting worse, Alisson may have been on the bench in favor of Kelleher prior to the Champions League game since he was experiencing an issue.
Rather, the 31-year-old’s hamstring problem has become worse, therefore he is unlikely to play against Andoni Iraola’s team.
Liverpool will need to adjust if Alisson is sidelined, but keeping Kelleher even though other teams may be interested could be vital. Giorgi Mamardashvili has sign with Liverpool, however he is still at Valencia through 2025.

Slot also fielded questions about Darwin Nunez. “Same like all the others: work really hard and the goals will come,” was Slot’s advice for the forward seeking a spot in the starting line-up.
“That is what he did vs Milan. Attackers score goals and assist – it happened to Cody [Gakpo]. If you play for Liverpool, you will always get goals and assists.”
