“I Am In Love With..” – Enzo Maresca Praises Chelsea Star By Admitting His Love For Him

Chelsea handily defeated Julen Lopetegui’s West Ham United club over the weekend.

The Blues won 3-0, with Nicolas Jackson scoring twice and Cole Palmer adding another goal to an already strong season.

It was a one-sided game, with Enzo Maresca’s club easily dealing with the threat, or lack thereof, from a newly formed Hammers side.

Maresca was full of praise for one of his players after the game, adding that he adores him for his performance thus far.

Wesley Fofana, who had to play at right-back due to injuries to Reece James and Malo Gusto, was praised by his boss for his excellent performance.

‘Wes is a player I adore; I am in love with Wes!’ Maresca said this after beating West Ham, according to the club’s official website.

‘He is doing tremendous after being away for a year due to injury, and it is not easy for any player in the world to come back from that, and he is doing well. This is all we want from him.’

The manager acknowledged that the decision to remove Fofana is not due to an injury.

Maresca said that he was merely trying to protect the player when he decided to pull him off after an hour since Fofana had already received a yellow card and it was best not to expose him to West Ham’s attacking players.

Enzo Maresca has transformed Chelsea’s fortunes.

After a dismal season under former manager Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea has started the season strongly under Maresca.

They are now fifth in the league, just one point behind Arsenal, who are fourth.

The Blues have ten points from their first five games of the season, with their lone setback coming against defending champions Manchester City in the season opener.

It is a positive indication for the West London team, which has struggled for momentum and consistency over the last two seasons.
