Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti announced that he will rotate his players against Alaves this week, in addition to answering questions regarding his retirement intentions during a pregame news conference on Monday afternoon in Spain.
Jude Bellingham will play tomorrow but Dani Carvajal has not been cleared to play. “In each game you have to compete, fight, and suffer,” he continued.
The man from England. “But Carvajal needs a few more days.”

Meanwhile, when asked if Kylian Mbappe, the summer acquisition from Paris Saint-Germain, will be rested, Ancelotti remained silent.
“You’ll see tomorrow. However, there will be a few changes,” Ancelotti said, reports Forbes.
Ancelotti will be managing Los Blancos for the 300th time in his two stints in the dugout when they play Alaves, making this more than just a typical midweek matchup.
Speaking about his life “without this club,” Ancelotti stated that he has been “extremely fortunate” to be the coach of teams like Madrid and Milan, “which I have a special affection for.”
“But without a doubt, Real Madrid is the greatest team in the world. I’m not suggesting that being on this bench 300 times is a miracle, but that’s the situation.”
Even after reaching that benchmark, though, Ancelotti is reluctant to reveal his retirement strategies.
“Just like nothing else, I don’t have a date. Unlike the athletes, I like my work, thus my level of fatigue is not comparable.
While it’s true that there is pressure and responsibility, I may have a mental one, which I don’t,” he remarked.
