West Ham Manager Injures Himself In Frustration Following Loss To Liverpool

Manager of West Ham, Julen Lopetegui, disclosed an injury following his team’s 5-1 loss to Liverpool.

Last night (September 25), the Hammers lost badly at Anfield in the Carabao Cup. It was Lopetegui’s fourth defeat in his last seven games, capping what can only be called a lackluster season opener.

It happens after West Ham made significant transfers throughout the window, adding players like Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Niclas Fullkrug, and Jean-Clair Todibo.

Lopetegui harmed himself when he stamped the ground in disgust after the team’s collapse late in yesterday night’s game. He then decided to sit down for the rest of the game.

“I think we don’t deserve this score,” he stated in remarks made during the game. “I have one little injury in my calf.” I believe that there have been several instances during the match where we have outperformed them.

“I would rather not discuss the referee. I find it quite evident that the important decisions have been made against us. However, we ultimately failed to score when we got the opportunity. These kinds of matchups require closeness to win.

West Ham now sits in 14th place in the Premier League and is eliminated from the Carabao Cup, reports National World.
