Last week, Solskjaer declared that, if they decide to break ways with Ten Hag, he would seize the opportunity to return to Old Trafford as Manchester United’s manager.

In the midst of renewed rumors over Man Utd manager Ten Hag’s future following the team’s lackluster opening to the year, Solskjaer declared he would “say yes every day of the week” if being asked to return to Old Trafford.

In a Q&A at the Oslo Business Forum, Solskjaer stated, “If Man United needs you, then of course you will help,” according to Norwegian publication NRK.

“Yes, please, any day of the week. Naturally, though, I would say yes.

On the other hand, INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe are “not currently entertaining the possibility of handing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a second stint in charge.”

The 51-year-old led the Red Devils for little under three years after temporarily succeeding Jose Mourinho in December 2018, reports Football 365.

However, he has not managed since his dismissal in December 2021, which came only months after he finished in second place during the Covid-affected 2020–21 season.
