Liverpool Can Put You In Trouble, Bologna Boss Warns

Bologna manager Vincenzo Italiano has warned his players about Liverpool threat, stressing that the Reds know how to get the visitors into difficulty.

The Reds will meet the Serie A side today in their second Champions League league stage fixture.

The 46-year-old boss understands how difficult the match would be and expects his team to improve on all they have done thus far this season.

Italiano insists that in order to take something away from Anfield, everyone of the visiting players must give their all individually.

“We have to go strong and outperform everything we’ve done so far,” the Bologna manager stated at a press conference.

“They know how to put you in trouble from every point of view, we have to play our game giving our best in terms of individual performance.”

The Bologna boss described the Champions League  phase as a’mini-tournament’, insisting: “I told the guys “let’s focus” because this is a small tournament and there is a league table where we need to get points.

“Liverpool beat Milan, they are going strong in the league, but we want to take our chances” .

Arne Slot’s team defeated AC Milan 3-1 in their last match, while Bologna were held to a goalless draw by Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk.
