Real Madrid And Ancelotti Not On The Same Page About January Transfer Plans

Real Madrid is in a difficult position as a result of Dani Carvajal’s injury since the team is not looking to add anyone right away.

In fact, there are strong doubts about bringing in reinforcements during the January transfer window. This stance comes despite manager Carlo Ancelotti’s belief that the team needs additional support, particularly in defence.

After Carvajal sustained a serious knee injury during Real Madrid’s recent triumph against Villarreal, the necessity for reinforcements became even more apparent.

The right-back will be out for at least eight months due to tears in his popliteus tendon, external collateral ligament and anterior cruciate ligament.

His absence is a huge setback and after his knee swelling has subsided, surgery is anticipated.

Ancelotti and his coaching team are aware of the difficulties they are facing, but there are currently no intentions to sign a replacement, according to sources close to the club.

Real Madrid is unlikely to make any rash transfers during the January transfer window since they currently do not see any compelling choices available in the free agency market, reports Madrid Universal.

The team usually would rather wait for better deals in the summer and avoid mid-season acquisitions.

However, while they may not be active in the market at present, they continue to study available options in case the situation changes. The possibility of making a move later in the season remains, but for now, Real Madrid are holding firm.
