Cole Palmer has been named 2023-24 England Men’s Player of the Year. Chelsea star was selected as the best male player by Three Lions supporters, beating Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka, who came in second and third place, respectively.
Palmer made his Wembley debut in November 2023, defeating Malta 2-0 and earning legacy number 1276. The 22-year-old has nine senior caps, including five appearances at UEFA EURO 2024.
According to Sports.ndtv He also scored twice during that time, including a remarkable goal against Spain in the July final in Berlin. Despite not starting a game, Cole assisted Ollie Watkins’ quarterfinal victory over the Netherlands and subsequently scored England’s goal in the final, which ended in a sad 2-1 loss to Spain.

Palmer’s breakthrough season for England combined with a strong debut year with Chelsea. He becomes the first Chelsea player to receive the trophy since Ashley Cole, the current Three Lions assistant coach, in 2010.
The 22 year old scored 25 goals for Chelsea in 2023/24, and his success helped him earn his first England cap in a 2-0 victory over Malta at Wembley Stadium in November of last year.
