Real Madrid are reportedly set to make Arsenal defender, William Saliba a ‘top priority’ with the Spanish giants believed to have made contact over a huge transfer.
Saliba is considered one of the top center-backs in the Premier League and has continued to improve at the Emirates. He keeps drawing attention with some incredible defensive performances to help Arsenal push Manchester City for the title in consecutive seasons.
According to French publication Le10Sport as cited by The Mirror, Madrid are now interested in the 23-year-old France international and want him to join fellow countryman Kylian Mbappe at the Bernabeu as a result of his impressive performances in Europe.
According to the report, los Blancos have contacted Saliba’s representatives to assess his interest in a transfer and establish themselves as the front-runners to sign him.
In an attempt to weaken Arsenal’s commitment for one of their star players, Carlo Ancelotti’s are said to be pursuing a deal for Saliba next summer.
