Barcelona defender, Andreas Christensen is reportedly willing to remain at the club despite interests from clubs in the Premier League.
Due to an injury he sustained early in the season, Christensen has had a challenging start to the season and may be out till the new year.
Owing to the Danish defender’s injury, Barcelona were able to register summer acquisition, Dani Olmo until the start of the new year.
But after that, there were rumors that Christensen and his camp weren’t quite happy with the club’s move.
The former Chelsea player was immediately reassured by the Blaugrana that they would be able to re-register him as soon as he recovered from his injury.
In the middle of this, SPORT as reported by Barca Universal, provided insight into Barcelona’s position about Christensen’s future as well as the defender’s own ambitions for the future.
The 28-year-old’s current contract expires in the summer of 2026. And the Catalan club have reportedly been in contact with him regarding a new one.

The Denmark international purportedly has offers from the Premier League, but his desire is to remain at Barcelona.
For the time being, Christensen has no intention of taking the Premier League’s proposals into consideration; his goal is to stay in Catalunya.
